$AUD75 of your retreat fee will benefit Bumi Sehat. Bumi Sehat Foundation International’s mission is to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality and to support the health and wise development of communities. Toward this goal, Bumi Sehat provides general health services, emergency care, prenatal, postpartum and birth services and breastfeeding support; in addition, healthcare and youth education, environmental and disaster relief programs.

Upon registration, you will have the option to join the Chi Chi Life Team fundraising page to additionally support Bumi Sehat’s work.

Day 1.       Get In The Flow.

Chat over lemongrass tea, before settling into your bungalow. Get to know your new home with a tour of your surrounds. An introductory Bali Barre & Stretch session will energise the body and awaken the mind, getting you into the flow of the retreat.  Enjoy your first Balinese meal in our tranquil outdoor dining room, surrounded by lily ponds.

Day 2.       Energise. Explore.

Lauren kick starts your day with a Pilates Strength Session. After a nourishing breakfast we are ready to explore. Our jungle trek takes us through local farms giving us an insight into local life. The ravines are steep, the views are superb. Fresh coconut water and lunch is well earned. The afternoon is for rest. Perfect timing for your Balinese massage. Your body will appreciate Lauren’s Stretch Session to finish off your day. Sleep well after dinner. It’s been a big day.

Day 3.       A Day Of Service To Others.

A day to give back. We are working closely with the community to identify a local group who needs our support. As we arrive closer to our date, we will share the details of our community service day.

Day 4.       Strengthen The Mind & Body.

We trek by torchlight to the summit of Mt Batur volcano arriving in time for sunrise. We walk on steep footpaths, led by our very experienced trek guides. We have time to relax at the top; it’s not a race. Make every footstep count on this journey. Take home a great sense of achievement and some amazing photos. Hot Springs are our reward. At the base of the volcano.  As we unwind and let the spring’s healing powers do their work we make promises to be kind to ourselves more often. There’s time for massages and afternoon naps before a restorative yoga and meditation session. Sleep comes easily after an early dinner.

Day 5.       Bali By Bike.

We get the blood pumping in an early morning HIIT/Barre session. After a quick pre tour smoothie we head out to join our bike tour. It’s a cruisy downhill ride stopping at places of local cultural interest along the way. We cycle on small roads, taking in local life. After a little chill time we stretch out tight muscles and get ready to celebrate with a Balinese feast on our last night.

Day 6.       Get Your Glow On.

It’s your last HIIT & Bali Barre session. Give it everything you have. Breakfast is followed by your last touch of Bali Bliss…. learn the beauty secrets found in a Balinese kitchen in a ‘Glow Spa Class’. Explore the traditional recipes that bring a glow to your body. Sit back and relax with a spa pedicure, the final touch to your glow-getting retreat. We reflect on all we have learnt over lunch before saying farewell.

Lauren is the founder of Chi Chi Life which brings together her three passions: fitness, events + fundraising + cancer advocacy. A 2x cancer survivor, Lauren is a lover of life + health + wellness. She supports, motivates + teaches rockstars who value the importance of strengthening the mind + body. Last Fall, Lauren led the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park. Lauren has completed multiple marathons while fundraising $55,000+ for cancer charities.
