Day 1. Settle In. Warm Up.
Meet your new Bootcamp friends over a glass of fresh ginger and lemongrass tea. Settle into your bungalow. Get ready for your first Bootcamp Bali Style session. It’s a light one. Dinner is Balinese style at our dining table in the rice fields. You will wonder how such wickedly delicious food gets to be so healthy. No talk about diets or the super foods. Just fresh locally grown food.
Day 2. Raise The Pace.
A Bootcamp Bali Style session sets the pace for the day. A jungle trek gets the heart rate up. Lunch in the jungle overlooking spectacular ravines is your reward. An afternoon massage is so deserved. Give everything you have in the final Bootcamp Bali Style session before enjoying a dinner laden with plates of delicious and nutritious goodness. That’s your first full day. Feel amazing about yourself.
Day 3. “The Hardest Paths Lead To The Most Beautiful Views”.
We trek by torchlight to the summit of Mt Batur volcano arriving in time for sunrise. We walk on steep footpaths, led by our very experienced and helpful local trek guides. They are there to give you a hand up if you need it. It is not a problem to walk at a slower pace, as you won’t hold up others who may want to steam ahead. We have time to relax at the top; it’s not a race. It’s usually around a 4-5 hour round trip. Take home a great sense of achievement and some amazing photos.Hot Springs are our reward. As we unwind and let the spring’s healing powers do their work we make promises to be kind to ourselves more often. There’s time for massages and afternoon naps before another Bootcamp Bali Style session.
Day 4. Just the Right Amount Of Chill.
We kick the day off with Bootcamp Bali Style and breakfast before heading into Ubud for the ultimate body treatment. The traditional “mandi lulur” will scrub and polish your skin to a glow. There’s time to shop at the wonderful markets, galleries and artisan stores. Feeling so chilled we head home for a restorative yoga and session before dinner. Balance.
Day 5. Challenges & Celebrations.
Be prepared for ridiculous amounts of fun and plenty of sweat as we go on our Amazing Race/Fitness Challenge covering rice paddies, farms and jungle. At one moment there might be rolling logs, the next hill sprinting, before hanging from coconut trees, tossing coconuts and solving cryptic clues. Not the dare devil type? Don’t worry, this caters for all levels of fitness. It’s more fun than frightening. We celebrate our results with our staff and friends from the village in a celebratory Balinese feast for dinner. Music and dancing is on!
Day 6. The Final Blast.
Put your new found energy to work in the final Bootcamp Bali Style session. Double serves of banana pancakes at the farewell breakfast is the norm. Reflect on all you have achieved over the last few days. Feel good about yourself and your fellow Bootcampers. It’s time to pack your bag and move on to your next destination.
Take home fond memories of new friends made, new adventures experienced, the joy of accomplishment and firmer abs to boot!
