This retreat is here to help you start your Yoga journey, or deepen your practice
for those who already have made Yoga part of their daily lives.

Day 1.       Settle In. Stretch Out.

Meet your new retreat friends over a glass of fresh ginger and lemongrass tea. Settle into your bungalow. Take a wander through the gardens. Breathe. Dinner is Balinese style at our dining table in the rice fields. You will wonder how such wickedly delicious food gets to be so healthy. No talk about diets or the super foods. Just fresh locally grown food.

Day 2.       Eat. Trek. Love. Yoga.

Choose to join the early morning walk or just head straight to breakfast.  Breakfast is not to be rushed, it’s a tropical delight. Fuelled up we head out to the jungle, it’s time to trek and take in local life. The ravines are steep, the views are sensational. We balance out the day with massages and Yoga.

Day 3.       Cruisy Cycling.

Explore Bali via the back roads. The cycle tour takes you through small villages, stopping at many places of cultural interest along the way. It’s a downhill trip and there is a support vehicle if you need a break. For the keen cyclists there is an optional 8km uphill section at the end of the day. The breakfast and lunch spots have amazing views!

Day 4.       Getting Your Glow On.

This is a day of indulgence. We start with another early morning walk and breakfast before settling into cushions for our “Glow Spa Class”. Our kitchen is not only the source of wonderful food, it provides us with delicious body scrubs throughout the retreat. Wayan, our extraordinary body therapist will share her secrets. Learn how to whip up a body scrub, hair treatment or face mask using ingredients such as turmeric, wild honey, ginger, avocado, papaya & coconut. We end the day with yoga and dinner.

Day 5.       “The Hardest Paths Lead To The Most Beautiful Views”.

We trek by torchlight to the summit of Mt Batur volcano arriving in time for sunrise. We walk on steep footpaths, led by our very experienced and helpful local trek guides. They are there to give you a hand up if you need it. It is not a problem to walk at a slower pace, as you won’t hold up others who may want to steam ahead. We have time to relax at the top; it’s not a race. It’s usually around a 4-5 hour round trip. Take home a great sense of achievement and some amazing photos. Hot Springs are our reward. As we unwind and let the spring’s healing powers do their work we make promises to be kind to ourselves more often. Lunch is at an organic restaurant overlooking the crater. There’s time for massages and afternoon naps before a restorative yoga session. Our staff and friends from the village join us for a celebratory Balinese feast for dinner. Music and dancing is on!

Day 6.       The Final Stretch.

Revel in your final rejuvenating yoga session. It really is the best start to the day. We take a leisurely farewell breakfast, enjoying the famous banana pancakes for the last time. Then it’s time to pack the new you and your bag and move on to your next destination.
